Look at them….
Stuck in time, waiting for the day we unpause the game, freeing them from their frozen prison.
But we never do, and so forevermore are they stuck in place, as pins and needles overcome their senses as they start going numb from lack of movement. Sonic would shed a tear if it weren’t for his tear ducts also being paused.

Other than the characters looking a little bit stiff, I really do like this, colors, atmosphere, and use of pixels look very reminiscent of the actual games! Good work!

Oh thanks for the critique! I was struggling making the characters less stiff but I need to practice making characters in dynamic pose via tutorials in the future. Will try to improve in mind.

I don’t really know but I just call him a alien creature but the closest thing he is to a animal is probably a bat kinda. But I know he enjoys protecting his garden from pesky insects, he reads a lot of fantasy books, and one day he wants to be a knight. He wanders around alone but curious on whoever or whatever he stumbles upon. His favorite food is a big turkey leg. Also I didn’t really know the name Mildred was a girls name when I named him. But I think it fits still so I’m keeping it. Mildred means gentle strength and I think that fits his character well. Glad you think he’s a fun guy. Wanna do more stuff with him.
